He was born in Buzovna district of Baku city on 16th of March, 1961. In 1969 he finished secondary school #125 and was called for military service in 1970. After being demobilized from the army, he started his carrier at the Technical Control Department of Baku Aggregate Factory He went to work to BAM after being called from the Comsomol, in July 1975.

He was accepted to the Department of Internal Affairs of Irkutsk city in 1978. His boundless enthusiasm and desire to work in militia system brought him to higher police school of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of USSR in Khabarovsk city in 1981. Nuraddin was appointed as the head field inspector in Irkutsk city in 1982.

N. Ibrahimov successfully completed his higher education with degree in Law in 1986. He was awarded with a medal of “Excellent service” in 1986 as well. In 1988 he was promoted to even more responsible position and - the head of the Criminal Investigations. In 1989 he was elected as a deputy in Irkutsk City Council.

He returned to Azerbaijan in 1990 when black clouds started appearing in the skies of the Motherland. The same year, he was appointed as a district commissioner of Lachin city Department of Internal Affairs. He was fighting bravely in all the battles of the region. Ibrahimov had to stay in a hospital for a while after being wounded in a battle. He had a very serious injury and therefore in 1991 he was forced to continue his carrier at the Department of Internal affairs after Azizbeyov in Baku.

Despite being forced to leave the combat zones, he was often visiting frontline and supporting his police fellows. In the battles for the Kosalar village and Jabrayil region which took place in 1993 he showed a great example of bravery and was promoted to the rank of Major.

Ibrahimov Nuraddin showed an extreme courage in disarming a criminal group on the 10th of February, 1995 in Bine district. He was murdered during the operation.

He was married and had a daughter.

Ibrahimov Nuradin was posthumously awarded the title of “National Hero of Azerbaijan” by the decree # 424 of the president of Azerbaijan on the 26th of December, 1995. He was buried at the cemetery of Bozuvna district in Baku city. The Cultural House and one of the streets in Bozuvna is named after the hero. There is also a bust of him in front of the Cultural House.
